Nice to meet you!
Maja Rowecka (b. 2001) is a graduate of the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2021–2025), where she received a distinction and the Rector’s scholarship. She is currently pursuing an MA in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins in London. Her practice focuses on environmentally conscious and socially engaged design.
She was a finalist of make me!, the Global Creative Graduate Showcase 2025, the Green Concept Award 2026, and the iF Design Award 2026. Her work has been exhibited at venues including Łódź Design Festival (2021, 2025), the Museum of Applied Arts in Leipzig (“Zukünfte”, 2024), Shizuoka University in Hamamatsu (2025), and Milan Design Week (2026), where she presented her work at Alcova and SaloneSatellite. She also participated in educational programmes such as Homo Faber (Venice, 2022) and MAD Design Summer School (Latvia, 2022).
In the future, she aims to contribute to teams working to make industrial processes more sustainable and meaningful.
Alongside her design practice, she is also engaged in painting.
